:A neat plugin for Photoshop:

For the one who knows me, I like the most is taken black & white pictures !
I had started with my dad's Nikon FE from the late 70'and now I have a Nikon F90x.
Then, when all those digital cameras came, i bought a Sony DSC-F55 during the summer 1999 and blablabla

My experience with digital cameras in another post ;)

So like I said, I enjoy taking pictures. B&W more than color.
My favorite film is the Kodak T-MAX 400 ! I like the render and the grain of the 400.
Lately, I have tried some Kodak Tri-X 400. I have to developp them first to be able to compare.
Anyway, this is not the subject either :D

The reason I do not have a SLR digital camera yet it is because the film render is a lot better than the CCD/CMOS (or whatever) render.
Comparing a picture taken with a Kodak T-MAX and a picture taken by a brand new "first price" SLR digital camera (D70 / D300 / D7 / ... ) is like comparing 2 differents world.
To give you an idea, it is like how it is in movies. You have 35mm movies and digital movies.

So from then till now, i still use my film SLR camera for my B&W pictures.
Developping them by myself and then, I use a film scanner to make my film picture into a digital picture.

Recently, on the internet, I found a great plugin for Photoshop.
The plugin can simulate many films (Tmax ..100 :'( ; TriX 400 : Ilford HP5+ and many more)

A demo version is available on the website. You can play with it but need to buy the plugin to be able to save your picture.
The day I'll have 75$, I'll surely get it.
If I have a final positive opinion about the plugin, ....... maybe I'll jump to a full digital package :)

I need to borrow my brother in law's Nikon D70 to make some tests.
I'll post some pictures a soon as I can to let you see the difference between a film picture and a digital picture after Power Retouche.
